Teacher Training - 2010-2011 Workshops

MAPPING OUR PARKS

The training will be open to all teachers who have completed BTW training (including institutes this summer) or NPS and MPS rangers who have been trained.

What: Learn how to use National Geographic’s Fieldscope tool, an online GIS, to help students understand watersheds and to see BTW field study data across the Chesapeake Bay watershed.

When: Tuesday, July 13, 8am – 4pm

Where: Walkersville High School (81 Frederick Street, Walkersville, MD 21793)

Who: 20 teachers who have completed BTW training (including institutes in June 2010), National Park Service rangers who have received BTW training; Maryland Park Service rangers who have received BTW training. Teachers who completed this workshop last year are not eligible to attend again.
